Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (IATA: CAN) is 35 km north of downtown Guangzhou. Passport holders of 54 countries and regions are allowed 144-hour visa-free transit via Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. Check-in counters are closed 45 minutes before scheduled take-off time. It takes about one hour from Guangzhou city center to the airport. Travelers need to leave Guangzhou hotel for the airport at least 2 hours in advance. For international airport at least 3 hours in advance.
